Once read a book called "Dublin Burning" by WJ Brennan-Whitmore who was incarcerated in Frongoch for a while, as were many of the particiants of the Easter Rising.

I was camping in the summer at Frongoch. Theres a wee plaque at the side of the road in Welsh, Irish and English to commemorate the "university of revolution".
