We welcome the Prime Minister's commitment to building trust in democracy and to empowering citizens and communities. We firmly believe the constitutional case for Cornwall provides strong arguments for a greater degree of Cornish devolution. This has as yet never been acknowledged. On this basis we would urge a thorough investigation of the distinctive constitutional status of Cornwall.
