From Traquair:

Hmm, the latest exposed Westminster Pig Trough from the unelected (great to live in a British Democracy) House of Lords, which is basically little more of a Pig Trough in any case. Apparently the vast sums of money paid to these unelected generally untalented sycophants is not enough for them so they have built themselves an additional Pig Trough:

From the Sunday Times we have

"Revealed: Labour lords change laws for cash" "Four peers – including two former ministers – offered to help undercover reporters posing as lobbyists obtain an amendment in return for cash. "
"Lord Taylor, a former BAE consultant, said he would not table the amendment himself but offered to conduct a “behind the scenes” campaign to persuade ministers and officials. After agreeing a one-year retainer for £120,000"
"Lord Truscott, his Labour colleague, was also keen to help “behind the scenes” – for a fee of up to £72,000: “I can work with you identifying people and following it meeting people, talking to people to facilitate the amendment and making sure the thing is granted.”
"Lord Moonie offered to help for a fee of £30,000 a year and Lord Snape indicated that he would charge £24,000
http://tinyurl.com/ak3q4p

By coincidence all four peers are Labour, funny that. Obviously exercising their deeply held Socialist principals.

How long does Scotland need to keep supporting this British State with their tweedle-dum/tweedle-dee Tory/Labour offering where they take turns an ennobling each other with their unelected cretins and sycophants. Unionists made be proud of the British State, to me it makes me sick to the stomach.

Some more on the latest Fraud from the British State.
"Whispered over tea and cake: price for a peer to fix the law"
"BARON TRUSCOTT of St James’s took a bite of his teacake before explaining to the two lobbyists in front of him just how much it would cost to hire a peer of the realm.
“Rates vary between £1,000 and £5,000 a day,” he said quietly, his voice almost drowned by the chatter in the House of the Lords dining room. It was a question, he agreed, of getting the right person rather than haggling over the money. "
"In the course of their short tea-time conversation he agreed to help them amend a government bill that was harmful to their client, in return for cash."
"He charged £2,000 a day, which would have added up to £72,000 for the three-day-a-month one-year contract he later proposed."

Yep the British State Fraudulent from the very tip to toe. Time for the British Experiment to be euthanized and we can all move on. Also on topic of Fraud I see that the Quisling Scotsman Labour Party Paper has missed the latest Labour Fraud Story -

"Charlie Gordon pays son £13,000 from expenses"
"has been directing more than £1000 a month to GMG Solutions, a company run by his son, Gavin.
Mr Gordon's entry of £12,822 for "website costs" pushed the total he claimed to £36,760, more than double a typical claim by other Glasgow MSPs."
"out of the monthly total, only about 20% went on maintaining his personal website, while the rest was charged as "call handling"
http://tinyurl.com/bxznhj

"MSP’s son is paid £26,000 in expenses for Holyrood work"
"Payments have been made to Gavin Gordon for the past three years after invoices from his enterprise, GMG Solutions, run from his home in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow, were sent to Holyrood. He received £9747 in 2006-07, and £1400 in 2005-06."
"But the website address given for GMG Solutions on the invoices does not exist, with the domain name not registered and a search on the internet does not throw up any trace of the sole trader."
http://tinyurl.com/dnh5l9

Hmm so massive costs on a website (despite it being quite a tatty website), even more massive costs on something named "call handling", and all of it billed to the Son of a Labour MSP in the name of company that apparently does not exist and has not even registered its own domain name that appears on the official invoices, and also despite being a "successful" website company has no online presence whatsoever.

Hmm, Fraud and Labour appears to go hand and hand.
Socialist indeed.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Scotland deserves so much better than Labour - the quicker they implode into the cess-pit of their own making the better.

More from Traquair on the Westminster scandal:

Parcel of Rogues in a nation indeed. Of course we have the embezzlement on a grand scale, but what else can they get away well looks like drug dealing, racism, homophobia, assault and murder are just some of their other vices for which they get a "Get out Jail" card for. Looks more and more like Monty Pythons Flying Circus, how proud the Brit Nats must be.

4th March 2008
"Imprisonment of a Member: Lord Black of Crossharbour
The Lord Speaker (Baroness Hayman): My Lords, I have to inform the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments has received notification from the Ministry of Justice informing him that Lord Black of Crossharbour has been convicted of four offences at the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and that the custodial sentence imposed by the court took effect yesterday."
http://tinyurl.com/75y8gj

Lord Black is still in prison as we speak.
"Lord Mike Watson of Invergowrie last night started a 16-month jail sentence for starting a fire at a top hotel and endangering the lives of guests."
http://tinyurl.com/7klebf

"Disgraced peer Lord Archer has been released from jail after serving half of his four-year sentence."
http://tinyurl.com/7ll8jc

Lord Foulkes
"He was arrested and invited to spend the night enjoying Her Majesty's hospitality. He pleaded guilty to assault and being drunk and disorderly, and was fined £1,050." "One witness described Foulkes's subsequent behaviour as "like Zebedee on acid"."
http://tinyurl.com/77ocqc

"Labour peer Lord Ahmed to face court accused of dangerous driving"
"Labour peer Lord Ahmed is to face a court accused of dangerous driving after a six car Christmas Day car smash that killed a 28-year-old."
"in December 2008 pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving, which carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison."
http://tinyurl.com/6b2hqd
http://tinyurl.com/cu5t84

Of course Lord Lucan was the last Lord to get away with murder.

"A flamboyant Tory peer sold "industrial Sheffield" strength cocaine to two apparent business contacts he courted in the House of Lords - and boasted he could "sort" them for the class A drug whenever they wished, a court heard yesterday.
The Earl of Hardwicke peddled the drug at the Bibendum restaurant in Chelsea, and the Savoy hotel where, fuelled with brandy and champagne, he snorted the white powder through a £5 note."
http://tinyurl.com/dk7b9s

Lord Levy
"Twice-arrested Blair aide to quit Downing Street post"
http://tinyurl.com/c5td4p

"The House of Lords was last night accused of deep-seated racism and homophobia after Lord Waheed Alli confided in colleagues his distress and anger at his treatment in the Upper House. He has told them that the few black and Asian members are the victims of racism from other peers and some members of the Lords' staff."
http://tinyurl.com/aka8lj

"Storm over Tory peer Lord Dixon-Smith’s ‘n**ger in woodpile’ remark.
http://tinyurl.com/658m3m

"War hero, 82, hits fellow peer in Lords"
http://tinyurl.com/bvfzwd
Having convicted felons have a tax free job making laws for life is bad enough and the fact that those not yet convicted have been caught taking massive back-handers is sickening, but the worst thing of all is that the unelected House of Lords is supposed to be a key part of the "modern democracy" that is the British State.

Comparing with real "modern democracy" we can see just how badly Scotland is represented in this archaic English Gentleman's club ;
"In Australia the the constituent states have EQUAL and ELECTED representation - with the smallest Tasmania with only 2.7% of the population of the largest having the same representation - 12 senators each.
http://tinyurl.com/5gjodp
http://tinyurl.com/2cqnjs

In the United States Wyoming is 1.47% of the largest State California, but both have EQUAL and ELECTED representation in the second house with two senators each.
http://tinyurl.com/b6hbt

"the Council of States which has 46 representatives (two from each canton)"
The smaller cantons (e.g. Schaffhausen with a population of 74,527) have EQUAL and ELECTED representation the same as the largest Zurich with a population of 1,307,567.
http://tinyurl.com/bltemn

Not only are States and Cantons much more fairly represented, but horror of horror they are actually elected - not something that of course could be permitted in the elitist upper house with Democracy British Style. Yep the craven Brit Nat apologists simply tell us we are lucky to be treated comparable to an English region - apparently they lack any vision or aspiration for the Scottish Nation.
This is also the perfect opportunity for the Liberals and their core policy of federalism - they should be all over this to at least ensure the nations of this British Experiment are fairly represented. Of course if they try then they will likely find that England will oppose it with full venom, not for them the thought of being an equal partner with the other 4 nations. Federalism whilst not my favoured option, would, be a feasible and significant stepping stone to full independence that should be considered should the Liberals ever get their act together.
