Dè ur bheachd air an clàr le na h-Òganaich?
An cuala sibh fhathast e? Fhuair mi an clàr là mu-dheireadh den Bliadhna.
Aig an toiseach, cha robh mi cinnteach air a sin idir, ach a-nis tha mi air a-bhith ga
h-èisteachd fad na h-ùine bhon a' cheannaich mi e agus 's toil leam a h-uile òrain gu-mòr.
Tha feadhainn aca slaodach agus tha feadhainn luath. 'S fhearr leam na h-òrain puirt-a-beul gu h-àraidh agus 's e sàr sheinneadair a th'ann am Màiread. Bidh prògram ann air BBC Alba Dihaoine sa tighinn aig deich uairean (tha mi a' smaoineachadh co-dhiu!) bhon Fruitmarket ann an Glaschu le na h-Òganaich, Capercaillie, Art MacCormag 'is daoine eile a' seinn. Bidh an darna prògram an seachdainn as-deidh sin aig an aon àm. Coimheadidh mi am prògram nam suidhe le tè mhòr nam lamh! tha mi a' coimhead air adhart ris gu-dearbh.
A bheil clàr le joy dunlop aig duine? An do chord e ruibh?

Fruitmarket

How would this be spelled if Gàidhlig phonetics were applied?

Not the best at phonetics but...

English = fruitmarket

Gàidhlig = margadh nam meas

Phonetics = marka nam meish

No, what I meant was that the Germans have a system they use for borrow words. (I guess that's their prerogative!) They fix the pronounciation and then convert the phonetics. Is their a similar system in our admittedly less ordered world?

Cha chuala, ach chuala mi 'Canan nan Gaidheal' co-dhiubh, agus bha math. Tha' d a' cleachdadh sgriobhaichean-uine sna h-orain aca gu math, agus tha 'd a' deanamh rudeigin a tha faisg gu leor air an seorsa ceol a bu toil leam clarachadh cuideachd, measg den sheann-nos 's nos-ur....

....Maighstir Maoileas, math do chluintinn a bhalgair!

"a' coimhead air adhart"

's e rud o Bheurla a tha air tighinn a-steach dhan Ghaidhlig a tha seo. B' fheairrte tu "a' gabhail fadachd" a chleachdadh, mas urrainn dhut. Sin an abairt ceart ann an Gaidhlig....

Seo barrachd:

"a' coimhead as deidh na cloinne" -a' gabhail curam do na cloinne
"aig deireadh an latha" -aig a' cheann thall
"s e direach aon a th' ann" -chan eil ann ach aon
