Just letting you know about a Robert Burns show I've written and will
be performing in, at the National Library of Scotland, during August.
Something worth seeing at the Edinburgh Festival for once!

===

I think you'd enjoy it. Its the radical, political Burns and
unashamedly republican. I've attached a flyer.

If you are in contact with any other Robert Burns fans feel free to
pass the e-flyer on, or post it anywhere you feel is appropriate.

Its hard work promoting anything culturual in Edinburgh in August -
esp anything with a radical, republican or patriotic hue to it - so
any help appreciated!

All the best

Kevin Williamson

By the way, you have to buy tickets at the Fringe Office, which is miles from the NLS, as I found out tonight!!!

(Either that or buy his books, I have them all/read them all)

Like I say, watch out for the Fringe box office, it's heaving. Kevin will let you in for free if you buy his books, but due to Fringe red tape, they're not allowed to buy tickets on the door.

Went to see Alasdair Gray the other day at an event... he's in fine fettle.

Like many I know, I avoid visits to Edinburgh - especially during the Festival ! What about other venues ? Glasgow ? Ayr ?
