Yes, I know that Alistair Moffatt. The guy who believes Gaidhlig was never spoken in southern Scotland... or that a Highlander is not a Gael, because of his genes, and despite hundreds of years of speaking the language.

You can read his stuff in the Scotsman, he gets in there regularly. He comes out with frequent dodgy statements, don't know why as he is the kind of person who should know better.
