There is no monument in Glasgow to commemorate this battle. The Society of William Wallace have planning permission to erect a monument to this battle in the Necropolis in Glasgow and require £8000 to make this happen. The design of the monument is by the artist Andy Hillhouse which will be sculpted by Roddy McDowall.

Any donation will receive a Certificate and any donation for the first 100 over £50 will receive a original signed copy of Andy's drawing

Thanking you all in advance

OK folks, a wee bit of help for some friends of ours is needed. The Society of William Wallace needs a little financial assistance with their fund-raising for the Bell of the Brae monument to be erected in Glasgow very shortly. If everyone who visits this website or forum contributed the price of a pint, then they would reach their target overnight. This monument is to yet another neglected part of Scottish history, and anyone calling themselves a Scot should be helping - if all you can spare is a pound, then please do so now. Every penny helps.

Grrr. I lost my crowdfunder password, apparently. Never mind. New one will arrive, and then some pennies. :)

Isn't it daft that we have that stupid Donald Dewar statue, for instance, but none for this? Oh well.
