Anyone know what they think of the Scottish parliament and what to do with it?
What gets me about this is them trying to come across all Welsh populist over the amount of people that voted for the assembly... yet I didnt hear one Welsh accent in that 4:41 minutes of trash!

The sad thing is that those ARE Welsh accents (I think with the exception of the Farmer who had too much to say for himself).

And folk accuse Embra folk of being Anglicised!

Over half the shop owners in Cardiff sound like they're Eton born and bred, even more embaressingly its the same for the staff at the castle!

aye....anything from cardiff east has more of an english sounding accent than welsh. Ye have tae go west or north fae Cardiff tae get the real accents coming out.
the area from the Severn Bridge, through Caerleon (old Roman Fort), newport and cardiff has changed hands wi the english mare times than Berwick

The difference between Scotland and Wales, is that in Scotland the accent is a big thing, but in Wales, the language is the big thing. It's not uncommon to hear someone blethering on as if they're English, and then break into fluent Welsh the next minute, so it's not all it appears. Not many Scots, including the ones with obviously unEnglish accents, can do the same with our Celtic language.

Welsh signs are a big issue. I think they're great. It's not always easy to tell when you've arrived in Wales because of the landscape, but as soon as you see road signs, station signs etc in the language, you know fine well you're no longer in England. I wish we had something similar here, with the Gaidhlig and Doric versions of names.

In North Wales, Scouse is infecting the whole region. Ditto the Isle of Man, where even the bona fide Manx - including nationalists - sound Merseyside. If you listen to recordings of old Manx people, they had an accent which is almost mid North Channel - similar to various Scottish and Irish ones, with some Galloway flavour to it, and a bit of a Lancashire (rather than Scouse) inflection.

Worth remembering that UKIP in Wales draws a mainly English support as well, and that most of its Welsh supporters are the kind of Anglo Tory that is almost an extinct species in Scotland now.

They want to abolish the Welsh Assembly, stop funding the Welsh language - plus they want to get rid of the Scottish Parliament.

I received some election literature from them during the Scottish Parliamentary elections and they were openly saying they wanted to abolish the Scottish Parliament and go back to Westminster rule. I think they lost their deposits.

It's a pub for Islanders (especially newly arrived students) who are a bit frightened to get out & about...

Not a Welsh fan.
They consistently fought for the English against us. There is no cut off date for that as far as im concerned.
They fought at Falkirk and Bannockburn, doing exactly as their English 'masters' asked.
I've only been to Wales once, and it was more than enough.
I was walking along one of those Welsh valleys minding my own business, when a burly gang of miners appeared and terrified me with their close harmony singing. Never again.

And if anyone Welsh reads this and is affronted, tough.
You joined the dark side, and did their bidding.

Always classed Wales as a part of england its people happy with their subservience, they become Welsh when rugby is played and dont think they will they ever rid themselves of that tag. Agree with MacT they fought more against us than with us. Why was that when people go on about this pan-celtic alliance?
