A young model fell to her death from an apartment balcony at a hotel being used by delegates attending the Labour party conference.

The 23-year-old, who has been named in reports as Latvian model Laura Pahomova, plunged nine floors to her death at the Light Boutique Aparthotel in Manchester.

A nice looking girl, but are you thinking what I'm thinking?

I thought this kind of thing was more a Tory problem, but maybe New Labour are trying to catch up.

The hotel has 55 serviced apartments on its upper floors as well as some penthouse accommodation.
Labour delegate Dina Livingston told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I was in my room having a nap when the police knocked on my door. They said a woman had fallen on to a balcony and died.
"I think they were unsure whether it was an accident or not and were asking all the guests what they had seen. It's harrowing for someone to lose their life like this."
Ms Pahomova reportedly came to the UK from Latvia several years ago to study and live in Blackburn.

Although she lived in Blackburn, the 23-year-old had rented a £99-a-night serviced apartment at the Manchester hotel, which last weekend was packed with delegates from the Labour conference being staged in the city.

Actually to be fair, there's been a bit, just not everywhere. If it is what I think it is, it's a tragic scandal that's probably going to be brushed under the carpet.

The other possibility is Russian mafia.

This was buried quickly.

Girly business or mafia, either way looks bad. And who is the dodgy looking "housemate" in one of the photographs?

She was very close to the TUC and we all know their links to Labour.

The Russian Mafia's probably in there somewhere. If they didn't kill her, then they were supplying her.

Then there's the TUC biscuit.

She could have chokes on a TUC or more than likely a Labour delegate.

She'd certainly have choked on Labour's policies... The TUC isn't happy with them either...
