(Their choice of date stinks, but doesn't surprise me)
They reckon that around a third of YES is anti-EU. However, the Brexit referendum could become Indyref 1.5 if we all voted "Stay".
So, do we vote strategically ("Leave") or tactically ("Stay")?
The answer depends on what happens next in this sequence:
The British vote to leave the EU
The Scots and Europhilic North Brits vote to stay
Scotland is dragged out of the EU against its will
The political shearing forces generated lead to Indyref 2
The Scottish Government negotiates with the EU regarding Scotland rejoining
Is that it?
Would we simply rejoin, or would there have to be a rejoining referendum?
Most countries have a referendum before they join, but
rejoining is a different matter.
I don't want to lose my last chance to be free of
both unions.
