Sounds like a cracking event. So the march and rally is free for everyone to bring a flag and celebrate St Andrews day and weans are welcome. Free, ma favourite price  And tbe highlander hotel for an evening celebration with great bands and the drinks no overpriced. Sounds good to me.

It's basically a continuation of the ones we used to hold in Edinburgh, run by trusted people we know. If you're in the area, I'd encourage people to go along, it will be a good night. I'm away at work... as usual...

Slainte jolly, pity you can't make it.It is run by good trusted people and may I say run very well too.Just think this march in particular is very important coming so soon after the referendum,it's a great chance to show the people of Linlithgow that Scottish Nationalism is well and indeed flourishing now more than ever :saltire:

That was always the original intention of the Edinburgh one, which came out of a discussion at Wallace Day in Elderslie back around 2003... the idea was being kicked around, and Davie Ross said that there were enough people present to get it organised, so four or five of us said let's do it - and we did, and it ran for several years until (as with many such initiatives) it was being left to the same 3-4 people every time, and other priorities got in the way... but a couple of other places had taken up the mantle. I'm trying to get something sorted in Dundee for that date, there are things being planned in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Fiery Jack have the West Lothian one in hand and I think there's usually one down Dunoon way - so it is spreading slowly. Just need to keep fanning the flames...
