Brand new daily newspaper launched today,it's published by the Herald group,at 50 pence it's a bit pricey but I bought it all the same and will continue to do so,it was so refreshing to read a daily paper that backs independence :saltire:

great to buy a daily newspaper again, a good mix of national and international news. its needing padded out with human interest stories, crossword etc to compete with the rectum and scum, and id like to see mcwhirter and other balanced reporters having an input, but looking good so far.

In the old days the rectum had Angus Og. but that was when Scotland meant something to it.....

I'd agree, Angus Og used to be quite politically orientated at times, and humour is a good way to get the message across. The National needs to build on its good start though, and keep the momentum going. It could be a very useful method of educating those not used to social media, or indeed no on-line at all.

It cropped up on Facebook.

Buy more than one copy. Shove the other one(s) in cafes, pubs, buses etc... gets more people reading it, especially folk who don't use the internet.
