Happy New Year to all my brothers and sisters in Siol. Got great news today,I've been accepted for Protonbeam Radiotherapy in Villigen,Northern Switzerland :matesdrunk: . Didn't think I'd get it but I'm over the moon I have,this gives me a great chance of getting shot of the wee alien inside my head,hopefully for good if not for a very long time. I head across there on the 19th of January for a few days,I'm getting a conseltation,I'll get another MRI scan and get a mask made and fitted for my head.I'll fly back home a few days later then head back there for the 1st of February for the start of my treatment,they reckon my treatment will end on the 23rd of March,then a couple of days later I'll fly home for the recovery period. Slainte to you all for your support,here's hoping I'm just about there :saltire:

Slainte guys,heading over there on Tuesday for a few days,get the radiotherapy mask fitted/MRI scan and a talk bout the treatment and what to expect when I'm over there.Flying back to Switzerland at the end of January to start my treatment on the 1st of February,I'll make sure the Siol hoody/t-shirt is packed with me and good to go :saltire:
