Have just finished
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roots-Nationali ... NWHZKT265JEach chapter has a different author.
The Nordic chapters were very good and taught me a lot about what our Northern neighbours had to go through to secure their freedom.
The Atlantic Island chapters were different with some pretty poor English and Unionism lurking just below the surface. Compiled so soon after the Bitter Spring they were obviously struggling to grasp Nationalism and were trying to study it in the same way that you'd look at bugs down a microscope. As such the writing says as much about the contributors as it does about their subject.
6 maybe 7 out of 10.
