Hi all, hope you are well, this is one for fellow pipers/musicians. I am trying to put together a strong set with a Nationalist theme but am finding it difficult, as there are only so many Rabbie Burns tunes on paper. Most of the Piobaireachd I've read are related to the specific clans (about 90% due to the nature of Piobaireachd) and the non Piob I have are all Regimental tunes. This is all great, but I like a to have a wide reptoire and av managed to come up with a decent clan Cameron set, funeral/weddings set, drunk set etc so all that seems left to do is find a few good nationalist tunes to belt out of my wee Springburn flat while Patricia Ferguson holds her surgeries across the road (the very few that she does hold)! Though I doubt she has enough cultural or historical knowledge to appreciate the sentiment.
