Friday will see the beginning of the campaign for the right of Scots to vote on their country's future. We must remember this campaign is only to give the people of Scotland a voice by way of a referendum, not for actual Independence. Regardless of this only being the case people will have to be in the frame of mind that Independence is the right thing for Scotland when the votes are cast or we will remain under Westminster control.
The beginning of this campaign should also be the starting pistol for all activists to stand up and be counted, this is not a time for laziness or complacency.
There have been calls in the past for things like group unity, I really don't think this is necessary and can actually cause more division than help as has been proved. As long as people are united in mind that's all that is required, like what happened in the Scottish election of 2011.
In the words of the Corries " We will Rise and be a Nation again" well that time is NOW!!

For, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we submit to English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
