"A Short and Impartial
VIEW
Of The MANNER and OCCASION
OF THE SCOTS COLONY'S
Coming away from
DARIEN
In A Letter to a Person of Quality."
A pamphlet dated 1699 outlining the fate of the Darien Expedition, an interesting (if depressing) part of our history, which led to the Treaty of Union a few short years later. It's in reasonable condition for being 310 years old, though the last few pages have suffered some damage. Enough remains of these to be able to read the vast majority of it, however, so we present it as yet another historical Scottish artefact for your information.
