We present here scans of two pages of minutes from the proceedings of the Scots Parliament from the month of May 1693. The first, from May 15th, mentions many instances of people signing the Oath of Allegiance (to William of Orange and his wife Mary), and the second, from May 19th, contains more of the same plus several petitions. Some interesting little items hidden away in there, and of historical interest is the fact that even as far back as 1693, Scottish government was at least as open as it purports to be these days.
