Blasts from the Past
I just stood aside while the oldest European Kingdom, once among the most cultured and socially just communities was being turned into a mere province of one of the world's least savoury Imperial powers.
I have stood aside while a people that has given much to civilisation, to freedom, and for the freedom of others was being changed deliberately into a people filled with suspicion, dissension, and hatred of their own past, their own traditions, and their own culture.
I have stood aside and watched while this "Scotland the Brave" was slowly conditioned by its enemies into its present timid state, the majority of our people lacking the confidence to accept independence with all its inherent responsibilities.
I have stood aside and watched while our universities and colleges were being flooded with those who have no slight understanding of our country ; in most of our universities we are outnumbered by English "guests".
I have stood aside and watched while our foreign controlled media systematically brainwashed our people into apathetic acceptance of their colonial status, in particular that Scotland is not a Nation.
I have stood aside while scheming politicians of those foreign political parties have bent the system to deny our rights - even ignoring those democratic decisions with which they have disagreed.
I have stood aside while loyalty, to our country and to our fellow Scots, was being eroded by the anti-Scottish forces which run through every sector of our Scottish National life.
